A small team, real ownership
Satomi Technologies is a compact team, which means nobody spends a year maintaining one screen of somebody else’s code. You will see a project from the first requirement conversation through to deployment, and you will still be the person who supports it afterwards. That is demanding, and it is also the fastest way anyone learns to build software properly.
Our clients include government departments, public sector undertakings, and established businesses, so the work carries real consequences. Systems have to be reliable, documented, and defensible. If you like writing code that is clean because it has to last, rather than clean because a linter said so, this is a good place to work.
We hire for judgement and curiosity ahead of a specific framework on a CV. Several of our team joined as freshers from colleges across the North East and now lead their own delivery areas.
Roles we are hiring for

Software Engineer, Full Stack
Build web applications and secure APIs for enterprise and government clients. Comfortable across a server side language, a modern JavaScript framework, and relational databases. You will own features from specification through to production.
Mobile Application Developer, Android and iOS
Design and ship native or cross platform mobile applications, including offline behaviour, device permissions, store releases, and long term version support. Experience with Flutter, React Native, Kotlin, or Swift all welcome.
IoT and Embedded Systems Engineer
Work on sensor integration, firmware, gateway configuration, and the data pipelines behind our IoT deployments. Hands on with microcontrollers, MQTT or similar protocols, and Linux based edge devices.
UI and UX Designer
Turn complicated operational requirements into interfaces that non technical staff can use without training. Wireframes, design systems, and close collaboration with engineers through implementation. Portfolio matters more than years.
Network and Systems Engineer
Deploy and support LAN and WAN networks, servers, hosting, and backup systems for client sites. Includes on site installation, configuration, and documentation. Relevant networking certification is an advantage.
Trainee Programme for Freshers
A structured programme for recent graduates in computer science, IT, electronics, or a related field. Six months of supervised work across software, mobile, and infrastructure, with a view to a permanent role in the track that suits you best.
